Mad Mel Rips Photographer, Prompts Police Report (E! Online)
Los Angeles (E! Online) – On the plus side, nobody was called "sugar tits."
A late-night excursion to a new L.A. nightclub ended ugly for Mel Gibson, who ended up on the receiving end of a criminal complaint.
He and pregnant fiancée Oksana Grigorieva were attending Wednesday night's grand opening of Playhouse, when a shutterbug apparently got too up close and personal for Mr. Mad Max's liking, and Gibson ripped the guy's shirt.
According to a spokeswoman for the LAPD's Hollywood division, the unidentified photog filed a police report early this morning accusing the 53-year-old Oscar winner of battery.
No comment yet from Team Mel. No charges have been filed, and a police source has questioned the validity of the complaint.
